We said see ya later to Chris on the last Friday of February. Usually Fridays are fun for Lilu. She gets to stay up late and watch her shows or a movie. It was a pretty somber day. As I post this I am looking at this picture. The face Chris is making just breaks my heart. Usually he smiles when he hugs his girl. And now it seems he is just trying to hold it together. Missing you so much, Chris. We have been really blessed to have not been deployed for almost five years. We got a little spoiled (Although I do not believe one should feel spoiled when they have spouse with them, but in the military that is the feeling). We are also blessed that this is only for 6 or so months. Lilu handled this very well. She was the one who said this was just a see ya later not a goodbye. Which is awesome but....I was a wreck and she told me that I was being dramatic. That was not something I wanted or needed to hear. We had a talk about that comment and all is better. But my pity parties are private now.

Not Saying Goodbye But See Ya Later

Hi Migi! Didn't know you had a blog. I'll have to send you an invite to our blog. It's so nice to keep in touch that way. I'm sorry Chris had to leave. You can do it. We should be in the same boat in August. If you ever come to TX, you are welcome to visit us.
