Now these may be hard pictures to figure out. I am sitting in my nice comfy new dining chair. If I lean forward or scoot up a bit (a little bit, mind you) the next thing I know I have a dog behind me. This top picture is over my left shoulder. I think they may have some issues going on here. Every once in a while I hear Daisy (the bottom one) growl at Lily (brown one on top). It wouldn't be such an issue if I wasn't already trying to focus on teaching Lilu. When they aren't behind my back they are both crying just to get in my lap.
Take a look at the next photo. This is just maybe an hour later. This is over my right shoulder. Doesn't bother her at all to be all smushed in there. As long as she has contact with me. Now this behavior isn't new but it has gotten worse. Very needy.
Daisy has gotten more brazen with her naughtiness. Daisy hasn't ever been one to chew up things. For the most part, she has outstanding behavior. Until recently. Her issue? Chewing. She chewed up a button. She had to work at getting this button and I have no idea what she saw in it that made it appealing. Then I found her chewing a nail file. Where she found that, I have no idea. But she did right next to me. A couple of days later, she trots into the living room with a pencil hanging out of her mouth. Casually. Like it was a bone that I had given her. Plops down at my feet. AT MY FEET! And starts chewing it. I was frozen from the shock. The audacity! The brazenness! The stupidity! Doesn't she realize that this is wrong? From the look on her face it seems she realizes it. I am hoping this passes. And not when Chris comes walking back in the door. Which is why I think this all started. Separation affects the whole family, not just the humans. I love you, Chris. And we, ALL, miss you.
