Getting Ready

This is just for his carry-on!

Okay, so we had been waiting since December for the Army to let us know when Chris would start training for his new job.   Well, we got word that since he got promoted he won't be going to a new job but that his new position will allow him to stay in his current job.  Confused yet?  Yes, we were too.  And I still am.  But get this!!  His command found out the same time he did and there were on the ball to get him deployed.  Right after Chris finds out they come in and say 'You're on the first plane out of here'!  So he gets to follow his unit out to the rocky hills and desert.  And we have until the end of the month to hang out with him until he leaves.  These days are passing by so fast.  This was like a big slap or a baseball hit to the head.  Man, wasn't ready for this.

Chris has been making a mess getting his stuff together.   Here is the PROOF!

His three duffels!

Yeah, his duffels are all nice and packed here but imagine all the contents strewn about the living room.  SCARY!  And..And!..he vacuum packed his some of his stuff!  Good times, good times.
