So we are in a new year and I still can't believe it. Where has the time gone? This past year has been a fast and hard one. I lost two of my uncles this year. One from each side of the family. One I was prepared for the other one not at all. And I am still having problems with it. I know he is Home and I should be okay with this but it stills stings the heart missing him.
We spent Christmas in Texas with visits to Oklahoma. It was a lot of fun. We brought the whole gang! Sweetie the kitty loved the tree. We would hear the clinking of ornaments from the tree and find her up in there. Thankfully, she did not bring the tree down. We really worked hard this Christmas vacation but it was a great kind of hard. We helped my dad build his shed and helped Chris' parents fix up their house and move in. Thankfully, nobody got hurt (well, not hurt badly). The time went by crazy fast. As did the year.
This year I hope to be more on top of things. We have a lot of changes coming this year. Some doors have been closed but other doors have opened. We know the changes won't please everyone (us included). But those were out of our hands. And we know that just because we don't like it doesn't mean it isn't the best for us.
