Went to the Botanical Gardens today. It was a beautiful day to go. Clear blue skies, cool breeze, about seventy-five degrees. I say again....a beeeyoooteeful day! Lilu had worked so hard on Mother's Day gifts earlier this week and got so excited about giving them that she couldn't wait two weeks to give them to me and my mom. So we celebrated Mother's Day a week early. She gave me my gift even earlier. A bag full of wonderful love notes. *

So we were supposed to have a picnic at the gardens (glad we didn't though) and walk around to see the roses. Oh, the roses! *
inhaling deeply* They were blooming and fragrant. And not even the normal rose smell one associates with roses. Which I am not too fond of. But some had the smell of Lemon! And one had the scent of spices! OH they made my mouth water (yes I was hungry at the time) and tummy growl. I took some great pics of Lilu and of the flowers. It had been almost 12 years since I had been there last. Need to go more often. 'Specially, since it is FREE!! And I am all about the FREE!
