We Met Some New Friends

So I have been praying pretty hard about finding friends out here.   And praying that God just puts them in our lap, so to speak.  Especially with Chris gone we needed friends and a church home.   He has answered that prayer beautifully.   Let me explain.  

I went to the PX and needed to go to the commissary, as well.  But I forgot my phone at home.  I really didn't want to miss Chris' call.  So I was hurrying through the PX and debating on whether to go to the commissary or just go home.  I knew if I didn't go to the commissary now I would not do it later.  So we went.  And we saw a family there with three kids.  Now, this was during school so any kids we see at the store are either home schooled or sick.  Lilu was super excited about them and I was too.  I told her that if they are still here once we are done that I will stop and ask them.   We had to find them again and I really felt like I was stalking them.  But I went up to them and asked the mom if she home schooled.  She said yes.  Man, was I nervous!  I don't like going up to anybody and ask them anything.  But I am glad God gave me the courage to do so.  We exchanged numbers and I waited for her to call me.  I wouldn't know until later but her phone went out soon after we talked so she couldn't make any calls on her phone.  But once she was able to she called us.  And we have been having a blast.  Lilu has a friend and so do I.  This is an awesome family.  And we are so blessed to have them in our lives!!
